Manual workbook update

Upload the latest meeting planner

The website does not sync with SharePoint. Download the latest Excel file, then drop it here or choose it. Matching attendance decisions, assignments, notes and PL-informed flags are retained. Planner edits to date, time and venue are also retained unless that source field changes in the next workbook.

Planner setup

Set bases, constraints and source data.

Base locations unlock mileage and drive-time calculations. The planner now supports shared live storage when connected to Cloudflare D1; browser storage remains as a fallback/cache.

Optimisation rules

Travel and scheduling assumptions

Coverage first assigns no more than one TBC-time session per trainer per day.

Source and portability

Keep the planner current manually

Import latest Excel planner

Download the latest SharePoint workbook and upload it here. Source fields are refreshed while existing attendance decisions are preserved. Planner edits to date, time and venue remain in place unless that source field changes in the workbook.

Export or restore planner

Create a JSON backup containing bases, decisions, notes and route settings, or restore one from another browser.

Reset local decisions

Return to the workbook snapshot embedded in this file. This removes local assignments, statuses, bases and notes.

Technical note

How mileage is calculated

The planner starts with a clearly marked estimate using straight-line distance adjusted for UK roads. “Refresh road mileage” requests road distance and duration from the public OSRM routing service. Venue and base searches use Postcodes.io for UK postcodes and OpenStreetMap Nominatim for other place names. Exact results depend on the addresses entered and network access.
